COVID-19 Update: The COOP is open for dine in, takeout, and curbside service along with online or call in orders. In response to the Sedgwick County Executive Order we have free disposable masks for shoppers and some fabric masks for sale. All employees wear masks and we have hand sanitizer readily available in store. Unless exempt we request that customers wear a face covering while shopping and waiting in line.
The COOP | Explained
We transformed a run down gas station building into a market space for local bakers and community members alike. The COOP (pronounced like chicken coop) is a place where bakers, baristas, foodies, coffee lovers, health nuts, and the community can join forces to bring opportunity and improve accessibility of locally made products. Members rent space, sell their goods, and keep 100% of their sales while The Coffee House manages the transactions and daily operations of The COOP.
You can find plenty of gluten free, keto/diabetic friendly, and vegan options along with the traditional treats. With 19 bakers we're able to fulfill custom orders for cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies, cake pops, meal plans and more.
Aside from coffee and treats, we have bierocks, microwaveable meals (low calorie, keto, or Cajun), microgreens, breakfast burritos, protein smoothies, and crepes (made to order Friday-Sunday 8am-2pm).
We are planning construction of a drive thru. Until then we are offering online & call in orders and curbside service at the north side of our building.
